If this sweater is ever finished, I hope to do some exploring with new color combinations. I saw a cowl on Ravelry that used a matte greyish beige ground with cabled highlights in a very sparkly light blue. This really inspired me to try a variety of blues and rat colored grey/brown.  Also I love South American colors. More research indicated!
